Create a plan and review it with your family at least once a year.
- Monitor phone weather apps, radio, and TV news to stay updated about tornado watches and warnings.
- If you are in a tornado warning, go to your basement or interior room away from windows. Don't forget your pets if time allows.
- If a tornado strikes, crouch down and cover your head.
