Gas Leak

If you detect a strong natural gas odor and cannot determine the source, immediately vacate the room/space, close any doors behind you, and initiate a building evacuation by manually engaging the nearest fire alarm pull station

During building evacuations, assist the handicapped in exiting the building. Remember that elevators are reserved for handicapped persons during evacuations.

Following emergency evacuations, your designated place of shelter is the primary assembly point, or use the alternate assembly point if the emergency in impacting your primary location.

Proceed to your assembly point once instructed to do so by your Emergency Coordinator.

Keep streets, fire lanes, hydrants, and walkways clear for emergency vehicles and crews.

IMPORTANT - DO NOT RETURN TO AN EVACUATED BUILDING until and unless told to do so by the Emergency Coordinator.

Water Main Break

If inside Yaskawa facility:

  1. Notify Facilities or site Emergency Coordinator
  2. From a dry location, cut electrical power to affected area, if it's safe to do so
  3. Block access to the area of the break

If outside of Yaskawa facility:

  1. Notify Facilities or site Emergency Coordinator
  2. Emergency Coordinator will monitor the situation with local authorities
  3. Follow instructions from local authorities
  4. Do Not drink tap water until told safe to do so
