Finding:
Electrical gloves are stamped with the test date. It's not possible to tell when the gloves are expired because the expiration date is 6 months after issue, but have a 12-month shelf life. Therefore, the actual expiration date can be any time from 6-12 months after test date depending on the issue date

Proposed Action:
1. Enter gloves in calibration database with issue date 2. Investigate the type of ink the calibrator uses so the issue date or expiration date can be stamped on the gloves when they are issued

Updates:
4/28/25 - Spreadsheet created with gloves and ID#, issue date and expiration date included. Sheet still needs to be created and will be posted electronically. No updates on the ink. Can a tag be added to the bag with the dates? Inspection app should be updated to enter the expiration date daily. 5/23/25 - Inspection of the gloves is setup for a daily already and has been on SQDC form; however, it is a attribute check (I cannot attached a screenshot here for some reasons). You cannot enter data here like date or anything. Is there a reason why we want a tag with dates on the glove bag? 5/29/25 - Need date on bag OR posted chart with expiration by glove serial number (GL) 7/1/25 - test stations contain electronic copy of expiration dates for all gloves. Xing confirm inflation check is daily also.
Corrective Action Taken:
Matrix has been created and posted at test stations so testers can check glove status
